IMPLEMENTASI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN “SMART” GAME PADA ANAK-ANAK DI DESA CERME KIDUL KABUPATEN GRESIK

The need for English learning media is very important to support the learning process. In the village of Cerme Kidul, it shows that children are enthusiastic about learning English, especially learning English vocabulary in an interesting and fun way. A fun learning process is the key to how cognitive abilities and character development develop simultaneously. One way to make the learning process enjoyable is through the use of learning media. This dedication aims to introduce one of the learning media, namely "SMART" board games which can be used by children to learn new vocabulary in English. The method used in this service is a demonstration and learning method based on Active Joyful Based Learning (AJBL) which prioritizes the learning process in a fun atmosphere where children are invited to play games using the "SMART" board game learning media to learn English vocabulary. The results of this Community Service show that children have increased vocabulary. Apart from that, through this game children are trained to learn to be disciplined and responsible. During this game, children are responsible for the tasks given. They exchanged tasks as pawns, rolled the dice and answered the questions on the question cards well. Children are also disciplined in following the rules of this "SMART" Board Game. The conclusion of this community service activity is that the "SMART" board game learning media can be used for children to learn English vocabulary in a fun way in Cerme Kidul village.

Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran Melalui Pelatihan Pengembangan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif Bagi Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil pengabdian yang berjudul Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran melalui pengembangan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif bagi guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Pengabdian ini dilakukan di di Kecamatan Kuok Kabupaten Kampar. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan ini merupakan Partisipatory Action Research (PAR) dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan deskriptif kualitati. Adapun hasil pengabdian yang telah pengabdi lakukan tentang Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran melalui pengembangan Strategi Pembelajaran Aktif bagi guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah disimpulkan bahwa sebelum pelaksanaan pengabdian, strategi pembelajaran aktif belum sepenuhnya dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Kecenderungan guru masih menggunakan strategi pembelajaran konvensional . Hal ini disebabkan oleh masih kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap bentuk strategi pembelajaran dan kurang didukungnya sarana dan prasarana serta perangkat pembelajaran seperti jadwal mata pelajaran yang disusun Madrasah.Namun Setelah pelaksanaan pengabdian, pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif mengalami peningkatan meskipun belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, dalam pelaksanaannya belum sepenuhnya terlaksana sesuai dengan arahan yang diberikan pada waktu Pengabdian, namun semua itu bisa di maklumu karena dalam penerapan strategi pembelajaran perlu pembiasaan sehingga guru tidak merasa canggung dalam pelaksanaannya.

GAMBARAN SANITASI LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP SARANA AIR BERSIH DAN JAMBAN KELUARGA DI KELURAHAN SINGOSARI KECAMATAN GRESIK KABUPATEN GRESIK

Environmental sanitation activities are very necessary in order to have a healthy environment for all living things in it, because a healthy environment can affect the quality of life and health status of the community. Clean water is a basic human need that must be met and is intended for daily needs such as bathing, washing, drinking, and cooking. If the environment has poor sanitation and bacteriological quality of clean water, then people living in that environment will be susceptible to disease. Some people who live in Singosari Village still use well water for their daily needs. The purpose of this inspection is to help provide an overview of the sanitary conditions of the environment for clean water facilities and family latrines in Singosari Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency. Sanitation inspection activities were carried out in several posyandu and the environment of local residents in Singosari Village, Kebomas District, Gresik Regency. This water quality inspection was carried out qualitatively and data was obtained from observations. The results obtained from this activity are that people are expected to care more about environmental health.
