Abstract

The high percentage of early marriages in Probolinggo Regency makes socialization and education related to the dangers of early marriages carried out to reduce this number, especially for teenagers at the junior to high school education levels. The socialization was held for junior high and high school youth in Kalirejo Village, Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency with the aim of educating teenagers in Kalirejo Village about the dangers and risks of early marriage and as an effort to prevent stunting cases. The research method used, namely the method of socialization and forum. The results of this study were 15 participants who were present and enthusiastic in giving their opinions during the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) session and this indicated that the participants who attended had understood the dangers and risks arising from early marriage. The conclusion of this study is that the percentage of participants increased related to understanding the dangers and not interested in early marriage after participating in early marriage socialization activities compared to before participating in socialization.
