Community empowerment in HIV & AIDS prevention is an important strategy in HIV prevention and control efforts in the community. This empowerment activity was carried out by the Gresik Regency AIDS Commission (KPA) on October 2, 2025, in Sidojangkung Village, Menganti District, targeting residents with religious beliefs. This activity aims to increase community knowledge regarding HIV & AIDS prevention, transmission methods, and efforts to reduce stigma against people living with HIV & AIDS (PLWHA). The method used was qualitative with a direct educational approach, interactive dialogue, and participatory-based information dissemination. The socialization process was carried out through verbal delivery of material, two-way questions and answers, and observation of participant responses and involvement during the activity. The results of the activity showed an increase in participant understanding of HIV & AIDS, as well as an increased awareness of the importance of empathy and avoiding stigma. The community also showed changes in attitudes towards receiving information on reproductive health and infectious diseases. These findings confirm that ongoing qualitative education at the community level contributes to the creation of a healthy, inclusive environment and supports HIV prevention efforts. The results of this activity can serve as a reference for the development of similar programs in other areas.
