The use of complementary therapies is growing in line with the increasing public demand for health promotion and prevention efforts. Cupping therapy is a form of complementary therapy that has long been used by the community and is believed to be beneficial in reducing various health complaints, such as muscle pain and fatigue. There is a high level of public interest in cupping therapy, but knowledge about the correct procedure, safety, indications, and contraindications of the therapy is still limited. This situation highlights the importance of community service activities that not only provide therapy services but also appropriate health education. These community service activities aim to implement cupping therapy as a complementary therapy and increase public understanding of the benefits and safe procedures of cupping therapy, as well as improve public understanding of its use. The activity was carried out in Lumpur Village, Gresik District, Gresik Regency on January 23, 2026, involving 15 participants who were selected based on inclusion criteria and had no contraindications to cupping therapy. The community service methods used included preparation, health education, cupping therapy implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. Cupping therapy was performed by trained personnel in accordance with standard operating procedures. The results of the activity showed that most participants experienced a reduction in complaints such as pain and stiffness after cupping therapy. Participants also reported feeling more relaxed and comfortable, and no severe side effects were found during the activity. In addition, all participants stated that cupping therapy was beneficial and they were interested in undergoing the therapy again in the future. This activity shows that the implementation of cupping therapy as a complementary therapy is well accepted by the community and has the potential to become one of the supporting efforts in improving public health.
